Hmm, jetzt wollte ich mich endlich an den nächsten Teil meiner Serie zu deutschen Hijab-Bloggerinnen machen - und da sehe ich, dass der Blog von Imzadi Couture, der als nächstes auf meiner Liste steht, nicht mehr online ist. Die ganze Webseite ist verschwunden. Gibt es das Geschäft Imzadi Couture, zu dem der Blog gehörte, nicht mehr? Die Profile auf Youtube, Pinterest, Twitter und Facebook sind noch aktiv - auch wenn sich dort seit einiger Zeit nichts mehr getan hat.
Hmm, so now that I wanted to write up the next part of my series on German hijab bloggers, I have noticed that the Imzadi Couture blog which is next on my list is not online anymore. In fact, the whole website has disappeared. Does the company Imzadi Couture to which the blog belonged not exist anymore? Their profiles on Youtube, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook seem still active - even if they have not been updated for some time.
Nun ja. Imzadi Coutures Blog war der erste deutschsprachige Hijab-Blog, auf den ich gestoßen bin. Entdeckt habe ich ihn kurz nachdem ich meinen Blog gestartet hatte. Geschrieben wurde auf dem Blog zu Hijabbindetechniken, Hijabtrends, bekannten Hijabträgerinnen, Hijab-Blogs und zu hijabtauglichen Kleidern, die es im Shop zu kaufen gab. Neue Posts wurden eher unregelmäßig veröffentlicht - aber es ist ja auch tendenziell zeitaufwendig so einen Blog zu führen - vor allem wenn man gleichzeitig noch sein eigenes Geschäft führt!
Oh well. Imzadi Couture's blog was the first German-speaking hijab blog I have been aware of. I discovered it shortly after starting my blog. On the blog, you could find posts on how to wear hijab, current hijab trends, famous hijabis as well as hijab-appropriate clothing which could be purchased in the shop. It seemed to be updated on a irregular basis but then again blogging can be rather time-intensive, especially if you run your own company at the same time!
Ich kenne in der Zwischenzeit schon einige Blogs, die nicht mehr aktualisiert werden - oder ganz aus dem Netz geworden sind. Leute ändern sich, Interessen ändern sich, man ist beschäftigt, es geht halt weiter. Auch einige andere Blogs auf meiner Liste von deutschen Hijab-Bloggern sind nicht mehr aktiv - der Vollständigkeit halber behalte ich sie trotzdem auf der Liste. Also, nächstes Mal geht es weiter mit Fatimas Blog The Faith and Fashion Closet inshaallah!
I know quite a few blogs which are not being updated anymore - or which disappeared completely from the net. People change, their interests change, you get busy with other things, life goes on. There are some more blogs on my lists of German hijab bloggers which are not active anymore - I have decided to still keep them on the list for the sake of completeness. So, next time we'll have a look at Fatimas Blog The Faith and Fashion Closet inshaallah!
