(Bisschen) Türkisch in Berlin || (Kind of) Turkish in Berlin

Was tut man wenn man auf Reise ist und plötzlich realisiert, dass man längst nicht genug Kleider eingepackt hat? Na ja, improvisieren eben. So kam ich zu folgendem Outfit, was mir letztendlich richtig gut gefallen hat. Erinnert mich an den klassisch-türkischen Stil, ich kenne massenweise junge gebildete Türkinnen aus der Mittel- und oberen Mittelschicht, die sich ungefähr so kleiden.

What do you do when you're traveling and suddenly realise you didn't pack enough clothes? Well, you improvise. That's how I ended up wearing the following outfit. If a bit sceptical at first, I ended up really liking it. It kind of reminds me of the classical Turkish style, I know loads of young educated middle and upper middle class Turks who look a bit like this.

 

Und all das war kein bisschen teuer: Hemd (0.80 EUR, Flohmarkt in Deutschland), Rock (1 EUR, Flohmarkt in Wien), Tasche (2.50 - 3.50 GBP, charity shop in London), Gürtel (gehört zu einem anderen Kleid), Schuhe und Uhr (Geschenk von Schwiegermama). Am teuersten war das Tuch (~ 12 oder 13 EUR).

And all this really didn't cost the world: Blouse (0.80 EUR, flea market in Germany), skirt (1 EUR, flea market in Vienna), bag (2.50 - 3.50 GBP, charity shop in London), belt (belongs to another dress), flats and watch (gifted from mother-in-law). The most expensive item was the scarf (~ 12 or 13 EUR).
