Auf der Reise trage ich normalerweise am liebsten Hose plus Tunika oder Kleid, ist einfach am praktischsten. Aber als wir uns auf den Weg nach Berlin machten, war es so heiß, dass das nicht in Frage kam. Stattdessen also ein Rock, ein möglichst strapazierfähiger: klar, mein Jeansrock! Dazu geschlossene Schuhe, a) weil sie unterwegs auch praktischer sind als halboffene Schuhe und b) weil ich unbedingt mal wieder meine Regenbogen-Sommer-Halbschuhe, die ich von Schwiegermama in den USA geschenkt bekommen habe (ja, auch von Payless Shoes) anziehen wollte.
When I travel, I usually prefer to wear trousers and a tunic (or dress). I can't think of anything more comfortable and convenient when you're on the road. When I went to Berlin this summer, I opted for another outfit though because it was just too hot for trouser and yet another layer on top. So I went for a skirt - one that does not crinkle easily and that does not mind the occasional stain (always happens, especially if you travel with kids): my dark denim skirt. I paired the skirt with my rainbow summer shoes that I got from mother-in-law from Payless Shoes in California.
