Herbst im Juni || Autumn in June

Nach vier Tagen tropischer Hitze ist hier jetzt wieder Herbst... im Juni! 14, 16, 18 Grad. Viele beschweren sich - ich war froh, endlich wieder Jeans tragen zu können. Für mich ist es so lange Sommer, wie ich keinen Mantel tragen muss. Und Temperaturen unter 25 (oder maximum 30 Grad) sind sowieso viel hijabfreundlicher.

 

After four days of tropical heat, we're back to autumn... in June! 14, 16, 18 degrees. Many complained - I was glad to finally be able to wear my jeans again. For me, as long as I don't have to wear a coat, it is summer. And temperatures below 25 (or maximum 30 degrees) are much more hijab-friendly anyway.

Dieses Tuch habe ich im Rahmen einer Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung der islamischen Hochschulgemeinde an meiner Uni gekauft. Zuerst dachte ich, es sieht schrecklich an mir aus - bis ich herausfand, wie ich es tragen musste. Seitdem ist es eines meiner Lieblingstücher.

I purchased this scarf at a charity event organised by the ISoc at my uni. At first I thought it looked horrible on me, but I have since figured out how to wear it. It has become one of my favourite scarves.
