Ich habe schon darüber geschrieben, wie schwer es ist, Bilder von Frauen, die Hijab tragen, auf der Straße zu machen. Sie kennen dich nicht, kennen deinen Blog nicht und haben keine Ahnung, was du mit ihren Bildern vorhast...

Deshalb habe ich, als ich letztens zu einer Veranstaltung ging, an der auch eine Menge muslimischer Frauen, die ich persönlich kenne, teilnahmen, sie so lange zugeschwallt, bis ich Massen an Fotos machen durfte. Ich bin mit 25 Fotos von schönen Musliminnen und ihren Kleidern nach Hause gegangen - was natürlich viel zu viel für einen Blogpost ist; ich werde sie auf mehrere Posts aufteilen. Was bedeutet, dass ihr eine ganze Serie an Schöne-Muslimah-Posts bekommt - richtig gut, oder?!

I have written about how difficult it is to take pictures of women wearing hijab on the street. They don't know you, they don't know your blog, they have no clue what you are going to do with their pictures... 

That's why when the other day I went to a meeting that a lot of Muslim women I know attended I seized the opportunity and talked them into letting me take loads of pictures... I went home with 25 pictures of beautiful Muslim women and their clothes ... which is way too much for one blog posts, so I'll divide them up. Which means you'll get a whole series of beautiful Muslimah posts - isn't that exciting?!

Simple schwarze Abaya mit buntem Pashmina - ein Klassiker! ||

Auch ein Klassiker: ein weiteres Tuch um Schultern und über die Brust legen, 

damit auch wirklich alles bedeckt ist (und warm hält es auch). ||

Also a classic: wrap another scarf around shoulders and chest 
for extra coverage (and it keeps you warm, too).

Einteiler: Abaya, die über den Kopf getragen wird. ||

Sie hat sie allerdings im Nahen Osten gekauft und nicht in den USA wie ich. ||
