Jeanskleid, roter Cardigan || Denim dress, red cardigan

Laut Modeindustrie ist Denim dieses Frühjahr ein riesen Trend. Das ist natürlich Unsinn - Denim ist immer in Mode. Na ja, meiner Meinung nach zumindest... Ich mag vor allem dunkelblaue Jeansstoffe - je dunkler, desto besser! Wenn ihr mich fragt, kann man richtig dunklen Jeansstoff selbst im Büro tragen (ok, kommt drauf an, wo genau man arbeitet). Dieses Chambray-Kleid habe ich vor ungefähr einem Jahr in Wien gekauft. Es war teuer (ich habe um die 50 EUR bezahlt), aber die Qualität ist einwandfrei und der Schnitt und die Farbe waren genau das, wonach ich gesucht hatte, insofern denke ich, dass die Prasserei gerechtfertigt war...

If you believe the fashion industry, denim is a big trend this spring. But that's nonsense - denim is always in. Well, if you ask me that is. I particularly like dark blue denim - the darker, the better! In my book, really dark denim can even we worn in a business context (ok, depending on where exactly you work!). I bought this chambray dress in Vienna around a year ago. It was expensive (I paid around 50 EUR), but the quality is excellent and cut and colour were also exactly what I was looking for, so I guess it was worth the splurge.

Blauer Jeansstoff (oder eben auch Chambray) sieht immer gut mit Rot aus, also habe ich das Kleid mit meinem geliebten roten Wollcardigan (3 GBP, Charity-Shop) kombiniert. Da ich schwarze Hosen trug (10 EUR, Charity-Shop), entschied ich mich auch für ein schwarzes Kopftuch (3 GBP, Whitechapel Market) und eine goldene Kette (4 GBP, Matalan-Sale).

Blue denim (or chambray for that matter) always looks good with red, so I paired the dress with my beloved red woolen cardigan (3 GBP, charity shop). As I wore it with black trousers (10 EUR, charity shop), I also opted for a black head scarf (3 GBP, Whitechapel Market) - and a golden necklace (4 GBP, Matalan sale).
