'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar (radhiAllahu 'anhu) sah, wie Naafi' in nur einem Gewand (thawb) betete. Er sagte zu ihm: "Kannst du nicht zwei Kleiderstücke tragen?". Er antwortete: "Natürlich". Er sagte: "Gehst du zum Markt in nur einem Gewand?" Er sagte: "Nein". Daraufhin entgegnete er: "Allah hat ein größeres Recht darauf, dass du dich für Ihn anständig kleidest!"
'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar (radhiAllahu 'anhu) saw Naafi' praying by himself in a single garment (thawb). So he said to him, "Can you not wear two garments?" He said, "Of course". He said, "Do you go out to the market in a single garment?" He said, "No". He said, "Allah has more right that He is dressed up for!"
